Item Required: Hat, Felt

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for a firm quantity of 864 Hat Felt in accordance with RCMP Specification G.S. 1045-070 dated 2016-06-27 and viewing sample.

The requirement includes 2 options of 204 Hat, Felt each which can be exercised within 24 and 36 months of contract award, respectively.

The requirement also includes "as and when requested" flexible quantities up to 300 Hat, Felt which can be order within 48 months of contract award. In addition, the requirement includes “as and when requested” special sized quantities of up to 25 Hat, Felt which can be ordered within 48 months of contract award.

The Specification can be found attached to the Request for Proposal (RFP).

The RCMP viewing sample will only be available to bidders that are requested to submit a pre-contract award sample.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade.

The responsive bid with the lowest total evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract (1 contract only).

The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

The Ineligibility and Suspension Policy and integrity clauses are being incorporated in RCMP contracting activities as outlined in this solicitation.

Bids must be submitted only to Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Bid Receiving Unit by the date, time and place indicated on page 1 of the bid solicitation.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.

The bid solicitation documents contain all the requirements relating to the bid solicitation. Any other information or documentation provided to or obtained by a bidder from any source are not relevant. Bidders should not assume that practices used under previous contracts will continue, unless they are described in the bid solicitation. Bidders should also not assume that their existing capabilities meet the requirements of the bid solicitation simply because they have met previous requirements. It is the Bidder's responsibility to obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the bid solicitation, if necessary, before submitting a bid.
