    This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Grande Cache Institution, requires a contractor to maintain and repair the institutional boilers and associated systems on as/when needed basis.

    Trade agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)/Canada-Colombia and/or Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreements.

    Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.

    Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest priced compliant bid.

    Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers.

    Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.

    Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.

    Nature of Requirements:

    The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

    The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to hire a certified contractor for a period of the three years, to maintain and repair the institutional boilers and associated systems on as/when needed basis.

    Objectives: The contractor must carry out a total preventative maintenance check, and/or repair on the institutional boilers and associated systems when required.

    Deliverables: For all services performed, The Contractor’s representative/technician shall have numbered work orders signed by the Project Authority or designate indicating that the work has been completed, and a copy is to be left with the Project Authority. The work order must outline the equipment serviced, the type of services performed and the total time of services for each piece. If applicable, Contractor’s representative must also include a comprehensive report outlining work completed and advising of any equipment that is ending its useful life service and is due to be replaced.

    Term of Contract: Period of the Contract: The Work is to be performed during the period of 2017-07-01 to 2020-03-31.
