The onus is on the bidder to ensure that the bid is delivered on time to the location designated.

SCOPE OF WORK / DELIVERABLES:
Work for this project consists of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to fabricate aluminum navigational aid towers as specified.
The requirement is for fabricating fifteen(15) 3.0m aluminum towers with ladders, four (4) 6.0m aluminum towers with ladders, two (2) 9.0m aluminum towers with ladders, and five (5) 1.5m aluminum extensions and ladders as per this statement of work specifications and drawings in Appendix A.
All welding and shop practices during fabrication to be in accordance with CSA W59.2-M1991 (latest edition). Welding and shop to be currently certified to W47.2 latest edition, minimum division 2.1 or higher. Proof (copy) of certification MUST be submitted.
The final product shall be delivered to the Canadian Coast Guard storage yard in Argentia, Newfoundland & Labrador.

Note: All tender securities (Bid Bond) will be returned except that of the successful tenderer (Bidder), which will be retained until the successful tenderer (Contractor) has completed the said contract.
QUESTION AND ANSWER PERIOD:
Bidders should note that all questions regarding this Invitation to Tender are to be submitted ONLY in writing by email, no later than Thursday May 18th, 2017, 2:00 PM (EST) to the contract Officer listed below. The department may be unable to respond to questions submitted after that date.
Fisheries and Oceans Canada will not necessarily accept the lowest or any of the tenders received and reserves the right to reject any and all tenders received which shall be final and at the sole discretion of the Department.
