The Department of National Defence (DND) requires transcription services on an "as and when requested basis." As part of ongoing projects to produce official histories, the Directorate of History and Heritage (DHH) has conducted numerous oral history interviews. Consequently, a requirement now exists to transcribe the interviews into text documents for inclusion as the historical material supporting various projects and as archival records more generally.
The period of any resulting contract is from date of Contract to one year later, with an irrevocable option on the part of Canada to extend the term of the Contract by up to three (3) additional one (1) year periods.
There are security requirements associated with this requirement. For additional information, consult Part 1 – General Information, and Part 6 – Resulting Contract Clauses. For more information on personnel and organization security screening or security clauses, bidders should refer to the Industrial Security Program (ISP) of Public Works and Government Services Canada (http://ssi-iss.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/index-eng.html) website.
The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
