Repair and upgrade of the Maison Blanchette buildings / House, Barn and Hangar

Description of Work: The work allotted under the terms of the present contract includes, but is not limited to, the full compensation for all labour, services and equipment as well as the supply, delivery and installation of all materials required for the building rehabiliation of the Xavier Blanchette House, Barn and Farm Hangar as well as site drainage works. The aforementioned buildings are located in Gaspé Bay at Grande-Grave, within Forillon National Park.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at 2472 boulevard de Grande-Grave, Forillon, Québec G4X 6L6, on August 14, 2017. The site visit will begin at 14:00 EDT.

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority exceptionally madam Josée Gagnon at Josee.Gagnon@pc.gc.ca no later than August 11, 2017 14:00 EDT to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

Construction Time:

The contractor will begin the work on September 15, 2017 and will complete the work on or before June 15, 2018.
