Item Required: Vest, High Visibility No Markings

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for a firm quantity of 1007 Vests, High Visibility No Markings. Sizes are broken down as follows: 123 Vests, High Visibility No Markings in size S/M, 661 Vests, High Visibility No Markings in size L/XL and 223 Vests, High Visibility No Markings in size 2XL/3XL.

This requirement is to be supplied in accordance with RCMP Specification G.S. 1045-357 dated 2016-11-03, viewing sample and patterns. Specification documents can be found attached to the Request for Proposal (RFP).

The RCMP Viewing Sample will only be available to bidders requested to submit a pre-contract award sample.

This requirement is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian goods (See CFTA - Article 503, paragraph 4).

The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract (1 contract).

The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

The Ineligibility and Suspension Policy and integrity clauses are being incorporated in RCMP contracting activities as outlined in this solicitation.

Bids must be submitted only to Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Bid Receiving Unit by the date, time and place indicated on page 1 of the bid solicitation.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.

The bid solicitation documents contain all the requirements relating to the bid solicitation. Any other information or documentation provided to or obtained by a bidder from any source are not relevant. Bidders should not assume that practices used under previous contracts will continue, unless they are described in the bid solicitation. Bidders should also not assume that their existing capabilities meet the requirements of the bid solicitation simply because they have met previous requirements. It is the Bidder's responsibility to obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the bid solicitation, if necessary, before submitting a bid.
