WHITE BEAN AND COLOURED BEAN VARIETY TESTING

ADVANCE CONTRACT AWARD NOTICE (ACAN) NO. 01B46 –17– 071

On behalf ot the Harrow Research and Development Centre, the Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) wishes to set in place a contract for the provision of a contract for WHITE BEAN AND COLOURED BEAN VARIETY TESTING FOR REGISTRATION AND SUPPORT.

The goal of this advance contract award notice is to advise on the Government’s intention to award a directed contract to the following preselected supplier:

Ontario Pulse Crop Committee

1 Davidson Drive, Hensall, Ontario, N0M 1X0.

However, before doing so, the Government will allow other suppliers to signal their interest in bidding by submitting a statement of capabilities during a fifteen (15) calendar day posting period, where suppliers must clearly demonstrate how they meet the requirements set out in the ACAN.

SUPPLIERS’ RIGHT TO SUBMIT A STATEMENT OF CAPABILITIES:

Suppliers who consider themselves fully qualified and available to provide the services described herein, may submit a statement of capabilities in writing to the contact person identified in this notice on or before the closing date of this notice. The statement of capabilities must clearly demonstrate how the supplier meets the stated requirements.

CLOSING DATE FOR THE SUBMISSION OF THE STATEMENT OF CAPABILITIES:

Thursday September 21^st, 2017 at 14 :00pm (EDT).

Submission of statements of capabilities shall be submitted IN WRITING to the contracting authority, prior to the closing date:

When submitting the statement of capabilities, the file reference number (01B46-17-071), the contracting officer's name and the closing date of the ACAN must appear on the outside of the envelope.
