Description of Work:
The work covered by this contract consists of the paving of the access road to the Cap-de-Bon-Désir site, on a distance of approximately 1,135 m (from the intersection with Highway 138 to the Cap-de-Bon-Désir Interpretation and Observation Centre) and the construction of a new gravel road, which will be approximately 300 m long (from the parking lot at the Cap-de-Bon-Désir Interpretation and Observation Centre to the observation belvedere).
The main works covered by this estimate include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Pavement correction by milling.
- Asphalt paving.
- Trenching and backfilling.
- Clearing and soil stripping.
- Earthworks required to construct a new access road, as shown on the drawings.
- Construction of a pavement structure.
- Construction of small structures and other drainage elements.
- Installation of concrete head walls.
- Pavement marking.
- Installation of an access gate.
- Replacement of road signs.
- Site restoration and clean-up.

The contractor shall perform and complete the Work on or before November 3, 2017.
