LAWN AND LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE AND WASTE REMOVAL SERVICES – Lachine Canal National Historic Site

The work covered by this contract primarily includes, but is not limited to:

Lawn and landscaping maintenance at the Lachine Canal National Historic Site of Canada, located in Montreal (Quebec), including: all sodded and fallow areas, covered areas (roads, parking lots, bicycle path, sidewalks and trails, etc.), flower beds, hedges, trees, shrubs and bushes, as well as related work located inside the areas, as shown on the plans. It also includes the removal of waste and litter (grounds and waste containers), weeding and application of environmentally friendly herbicides. See Statement of Work for more details.

Closing Date and Time: November 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. EST

Optional Site Visit: Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at 1156 Mill Street, Montréal QC on October 6, 2017. The site visit will begin at 9:30 a.m. EDT, in the Lachine Canal NHS Shops.

Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

Period of the Contract: The period of the Contract is from March 1, 2018 to February 28, 2021 inclusive. The work is to be performed from March 15 to November 30 each year.

Canada may extend the term of the Contract by up to two (2) additional one year periods under the same conditions.
