TITLE:
REPLACEMENT OF WARF AT LOWER NICHOLSONS LOCK STATIONS
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
The primary objective of the project is to replace a wharf immediately downstream of the lock at the Lower Nicholsons Lock Station. Lower Nicholsons Lock Station is a part of Rideau Canal system and is located at 41 Nicholsons Lane (off Burritt Rapids Road) Merrickville-Wolford, Ontario (half way between Village of Merrickville and Village of Burritt Rapids).
The work in general includes demolition, dredging, heavy timber construction, grading, minor civil work and concrete work. The work will be carried out in-water in an environmentally sustainable way and be fully completed prior to opening the Rideau Canal to navigation in May 2018.
DELIVERY DATE:
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work on or before May 30, 2018
