 TITLE:

Replacement of Warves at Black Rapids Lock station

 DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

The primary objective of the project is to replace the two wharves immediately upstream and downstream of the lock at the Black Rapids Lock Station. The Black Rapids Lock Station is a part of Rideau Canal system and is located at 2453 Prince of Wales Drive in Ottawa, Ontario.
The work in general includes cofferdams and water control provisions, demolition, grading, heavy timber construction and concrete work as well as minor electrical upgrades. The work will require accommodation of widely fluctuating water levels, carried out in an environmentally sustainable way and be fully completed prior to opening the Rideau Canal to navigation in May of 2018.

 DELIVERY DATE:

The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work on or before May 30, 2018

Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.
