Description:

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) requires a Contractor to supply all necessary labour, equipment, material, supervision and transportation necessary to provide general carpentry services on minor construction projects, maintenance repairs and various renovations for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) "Depot" Division, "F" Division Headquarters Building and the Laboratory Building located in Regina, SK.

It is anticipated that one firm will be issued a Standing Offer.

The term of the Standing Offer is for a period of two (2) years with the option to extend the term of the Standing Offer for one (1) additional one (1) year option period.

Security Requirement: The contractor is required to have all personnel working on site to be security cleared at the level of Facility Access with Escort (FA2) as verified by the Personnel Security Unit (PSU) of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). The contractor SHALL NOT remove or make copies of any DESIGNATED or CLASSIFIED information or assets from the identified work site.

Basis of selection:  An offer must comply with the requirements of the Request for Standing Offers to be declared responsive. The responsive offer with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for issuance of a standing offer.

Tenders must be submitted to the RCMP Bid Receiving Unit as specified on the front page of the solicitation document.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with any supplier on any procurement.

The RCMP has adopted the Integrity Regime administered by Public Services and Procurement Canada. As a result, the integrity provisions are being applied in RCMP contracting activities as outlined in this solicitation.
