Enterprise VSAT KU-BAND Satellite SERVICE Requirements For Shared Services Canada

1. Definition of requirement: This bid solicitation is being issued by Shared Services Canada. The resulting contract will be used by SSC to provide shared services to its clients.

The resulting contract is for the supply of Enterprise VSAT Ku-Band Satellite Services for Shared Services Canada’s Clients. The delivery point will be across Canada. The deliverables include, among others: VSAT Ku-Band parts, cables and connectors, remote access equipment, consumables and tools.

This bid solicitation does not preclude SSC from using any other method of supply available.

The requirements are articulated in the attached Enterprise VSAT Ku-Band Satellite Service Request for Proposal.

2. Security requirement: This solicitation contains a requirement for vendor and personnel security screening.

3. Trade Agreements: This requirement is subject to the following agreements:

Canada has invoked the National Security Exception in respect of this requirement and, as a result, none of the trade agreements apply to this requirement.

Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements (CLCAs) do apply as all the goods and services shall be delivered in regions covered by Land Claim Agreements.

This procurement is subject to following CLCAs:

2. Inuvialuit Final Agreement (IFA)
3. Gwich’in Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement (GCLCA)
4. Nunavut Land Claim Agreement (NLCA)

6. Sahtu Dene and Metis Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement (SDMCLCA)
7. Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement (LILCA)
8. Tlicho Land Claims Agreement (TLCA)
9. Nunavik Inuit Land Claims Agreement (NILCA)
