This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, CORCAN Atlantic Region.
Trade agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), World Trade Organization-Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)/Canada-Peru, Canada-Colombia and/or Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreements.
Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.
Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest priced compliant bid.
Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers.
Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.
Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.
Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement for a Standing Offer for an initial one (1) year period with two (2) option years to follow, to supply all labor and material necessary for the supply of equipment and/or tools delivered, erected, dismantled and removed from site on a rental basis for various construction projects for CORCAN.
Objectives: to supply all labor and material necessary for the supply of equipment and/or tools delivered, erected, dismantled and removed from site on a rental basis.
Deliverables: Delivery of equipment / tools must be delivered within 48 hours of notice. If the Contractor does not have equipment in stock at time of request, the contractor must be responsible of hiring a sub-contractor capable of providing request within 48 hours. All additional cost associated shall be covered by the Contractor.
The contractor must be able to provide any necessary training, maintenance, spare parts and/or replacement of rental within 24 hours of notice.
Term of Contract: Period of the Contract: The Work is to be performed during the period of May 1, 2018 to April 30, 2019.

After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
