Requirement:
Halifax Citadel NHS requires the services of a contractor for the installation of a Heat Pump at Cavalier Building. See specifications and drawings for further details on the requirements of this project.
Optional Site Visit:
There will be an optional site visit on January 16, 2018, at 1:30 PM (local time).Interested bidders are to meet at Halifax Citadel, National Historic Site, 5425 Sackville Street, Halifax, NS, Canada B3J 3Y3. The meeting will be held in the Cavalier Building, third floor boardroom. (The Cavalier Building is located inside the Halifax Citadel, it is the building in the centre of the parade).
The site visit for this project is OPTIONAL. The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
Project Timeline:
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within eight (8) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.

Information:
National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
