Title: Hazard Tree Removal – Whistlers, Jasper National Park
Requirement:
Changes in forest composition, brought on by the mountain pine beetle, have caused widespread mortality of Lodgepole pine trees in Whistlers Campground. Risks to visitors are likely to increase over time as the mature dead trees result in more frequent tree failures. This situation has created the need to remove beetle kill and hazard trees to maintain public safety, and reduce overall fire risk within the campground. The campground is located 3 km south of Jasper, down Hwy 93 (Icefields Parkway).
Enquiries:
All enquiries of a technical and contractual nature must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority as early as possible within the solicitation period.
Enquiries should be received no later than three (3) days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may not be answered.
