NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT
SOLICITATION NUMBER: 201601996 – Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering Professional Services
REQUIREMENT: The Royal Canadian Mounted Police’s (RCMP’s) National Radio Services (NRS) requires Radio Frequency (RF) engineering services to meet its mandate of leading, developing and managing the RCMP's National Radio Program. More specifically, the RCMP wishes to acquire the services of a Land Mobile Radio Engineer.
Access to external RF engineering resources will complement and increment existing NRS resourcing and expertise to assist or validate the design, integration, implementation and lifecycle management of RCMP radio systems.
These services will also accelerate the development of standards and guidelines and will be used to address specific technical issues.
The responsive bid with the highest combines rating of technical merit (70%) and price (30%) will be recommended for award of a contract.
Work is to be completed under task authorizations from Contract Award to three years later. Two option years are available.
