Trans-Canada Highway Safety Rehabilitation 2018-2019, Terra Nova National Park, NL

Parks Canada Agency has a requirement for construction services to rehabilitate and remediate areas along the Trans-Canada Highway in Terra Nova National Park. The Trans-Canada Highway in Terra Nova National Park is 42.2 kilometers in length. It was originally constructed in the late 1950’s, paved in 1960 and repaved in 1974 and 2013. Works under this project will include; installation of Guiderail, Ditching, Brush Clearing, Culvert Replacements, Slope Stabilization, Intersection Remediation, and the remediation of a large diameter culvert for wildlife connectivity. Project Timeline:

The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by September 30, 2018.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
