SA Holders may not submit a bid in response to this bid solicitation unless they have been invited to do so. However, should an uninvited SA Holder wish to be invited, it may contact the Contracting Authority in writing to request an invitation at any time prior to five days before the published bid closing date, and an invitation will be made to that SA Holder unless it would not be consistent with the efficient operation of the procurement process.. In no circumstance will such an invitation require Canada to extend a bid closing date. Where additional invitations are made during the bid solicitation process, it may be that they are not reflected in a solicitation amendment.

Description of the Requirement:

The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) requires the professional services of one (1) Intermediate level Information/Records Management/ Recordkeeping Specialist to support IM (Information Management) and IMTD (Information Management and Technology Directorate) horizontal projects. A horizontal project is a project that supports multiple CNSC business lines. The resource must be familiar with the Government of Canada (GoC) IM policies and have worked in an organization with an Electronic Document Records Management System (EDRMS). The resource must be available to work on a full time basis for the duration of the contract.

 Proposed period of contract:

It is intended to result in the award of one (1) contract for an initial period of approx. 11 months (220 work days) estimated to start in June 2018, plus one (1) irrevocable option of approx. 11 months (220 work days) to extend the term of the contract .

 The work is currently being performed by Michael Wager Consulting Inc. under contract 87055-15-0386 since May 2016 (value: $308,950.00).
