The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) has a requirement for Renewable Energy Sector Monitor and Technical Consultant for Canada’s Jordan Renewal Energy Development Program. Canada’s current development portfolio for the renewable energy sector in Jordan is comprised of three operational projects:
Sustainable Economic Development through Renewable Energy ($20,000,000; 2016-2021)
Jordan Valley Links: Enterprise Development in the Jordan Valley ($19,225,000; 2016-2021)
Nour: Enhancing Child Protection, Education and Economic Resilience in Jordan ($11,780,000; 2016-2019)
The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) requires the services of a Consultant to provide performance monitoring and technical advisory services on the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RE&EE) Sector Programming in Jordan. Monitoring and providing technical services for the three aforementioned projects that focus on, or target, RE&EE programming, with an emphasis on the Sustainable Economic Development through Renewable Energy Projects.
The purpose of this notice is to invite formal costed proposals from eligible Consultants. Based on proposals received, one consultant will be invited to negotiate a contract with DFATD for the provision of services. DFATD reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received. The amount allocated to this contract will not exceed Canadian dollars $197,148.00 excluding applicable taxes. The anticipated contract duration is 3 years.
The working language for this project is English.
To meet the requirements of the assignment, DFATD is seeking to retain the services of a Consultant with a set of demonstrated and verifiable capabilities. DFATD is seeking a Consultant with experience in Monitoring and Technical Services in the Renewable Energy Field.
Proposals should be presented following the instructions provided in the Request for Proposals document to be obtained through the GETS on the Internet (https://buyandsell.gc.ca ). Please note, DFATD does not send out Request for Proposals directly to interested Bidders.
