Outdoor Theatre Upgrades, Terra Nova National Park

Requirement:

Terra Nova National Park requires a contractor to perform all the work associated with the general renovations to the Outdoor Theatre and the construction of a new sound booth at the Newman Sound Campground. The proposed work includes, but is not limited to, reconstruction of the stage and boardwalk, extension of canopy over the stage area, re-finish theatre seating, construct new sign board, new projection screen, and electrical and control wiring component installation See specifications for further details on the requirements of this project.

Optional Site Visit:

There will be an optional site visit on 30 May 2018 at 13:00 (local time). Interested bidders are to meet at the Terra Nova National Park Administration Building 13km East of Glovertown/TCH intersection. The Administration Building is on the Newman Sound Campground access road (200 metres off the TCH). Attendees will congregate at that location and from there will convoy to the proposed construction site.

The site visit for this project is OPTIONAL. The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

Project Timeline:

The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by 23 November 2018.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.
