Description: Prisoner Meals
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) requires the services of a Contractor to deliver meals for the prisoners at the Harbour Grace Detachment in Newfoundland, on an as and when requested basis. Meal composition is set up as recommended by the Canada Food Guide suggestions and the Contractor will supply a menu outlining the food items that will be provided for review prior to award of Standing Offer.
The contract period will be for one year from August 1, 2018 to July 30, 2019, with an irrevocable option to extend it for one additional one-year period. There is no security requirement associated with this Standing Offer.

Basis of selection:
A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory criteria to be declared responsive (mandatory certifications – Part 5). The responsive tender with the lowest price will be recommended for award of a Standing Offer.
