Live Tooling Slant Bed Lathe

NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT

The Department of National Defence has a requirement for the supply of quantity one (1) Live

Tooling Slant Bed Lathe with computer numerical control (CNC) and manual control

capabilities. The one (1) existing Precision Lathe Machine must be decommission, disconnect,

remove, and trade-in of existing lathe. Delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of the

new Live Tooling Slant Bed Lathe, site clean-up and removal and disposal of all packaging and

debris. Plus training for QETE personnel on the new equipment.

There is a mandatory bidder’s site visit associated with this requirement where personnel

security screening is required prior to gaining access to PROTECTED or CLASSIFIED

The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
