Sealed tenders for the project indicated above, addressed to the attention of the Contracting Officer of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, will be accepted up to the tender closing date and time indicated below, at the following address:

Scope of Work:

Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s Nappan Research Farm, buildings No. 10, 15, 17, 29 and 32 located at 4016 Highway 302, Nappan, Nova Scotia, B0L 1C0 requires the services of a contractor to provide janitorial services.

Mandatory Site Visit:

It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for site visit to be held on August 7, 2018 at 10:00 AM (local time) at Nappan Research Farm located at 4016 Highway 302, Nappan, Nova Scotia, B0L 1C0.

Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance form in order to confirm their presence.

Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment and their bids will be rejected as non-compliant. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

Tender Period Closing Date and Time: September 7, 2018 at 2:00 PM (Eastern Daylight Time).

Information requests and inquiries related to this tender process are to be directed, in writing, SOLELY to the AAFC Contracting Officer identified below. Bidders who contact anyone other than the AAFC Contract Officer to obtain such information during the solicitation period may, for that reason alone, be disqualified.

It is MANDATORY for the firms intending to submit tenders on this project to obtain the related specifications, plans and drawings, and all other tender documents through the BuyandSell service provider. Addenda, when issued, will be available from the BuyandSell service provider.

AAFC reserves the right to accept any Proposal in whole or in part, without prior negotiation and reject any or all Proposals received.
