Notice Description:
Parks Canada Agency has a requirement for construction services to realign and reconstruct Highway 430 for the proposed bridge replacements of Dick’ Brook Bridge (km: 13+890 to 14+760) and Rocky Barachois Brook Bridge (km: 15+210 to 15+980). In addition, services will be required to rehabilitate the existing highway footprint near Shoal Cove Bridge (Hwy 430 – km 22+820 to 23+430). Work includes the construction of highway subgrade for both proposed bridge replacements and landscaping of the scarred area adjacent to highway 430 near Shoal Cove Bridge.

Bid Security:
Is required. To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value - Category 6 over & above $5,000,001, Taxes extra.
Delivery Date:
Construction must be completed by July 31, 2019.
Information:
National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.
Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than seven (7) working days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. Enquiries received after that time may not be answered.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
Site Visit:
