5P201-18-0131/A - Replacement of Sixteen (16) Trail Culverts - La Mauricie National Park
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK
1. The work covered by this contract includes the removal of sixteen (16) trail culverts and construction of fifteen (15) new trail culverts, namely:
S3_0620, S3_0670, S3_1090, S3_1220, S3_0630, S3_0690, S3_1097, S3_1230, S3_0650 ABC, S3_1020, S3_1210, S3_1232, S3_0655, S3_1060, S3_1215
2. The work to be performed as part of this contract includes, but is not limited to, the following:
.1 Land clearing;
.2 Demolition of existing structures;
.3 1st and 2nd class excavations;
.4 Removal and offsite disposal of existing culverts and waste material;
.5 Supply and installation of new culverts, including parts, headwalls, low walls, cutoff walls, and end accessories;
.6 Backfill of excavations, including transitions and borrow materials;
.7 Cleaning of existing ditches, where applicable;
.8 Reprofiling of existing ditches, where applicable;
.9 Riprap and geotextile;
.10 Complete reconstruction of trail structure and correction of profile for a specific section;
.11 Temporary shoring, including bracing of five (5) bridges;
.12 Protection of public utilities;
.13 Environmental protection structures;
.14 Site signage and protection;
.15 Site rehabilitation.
3. All works mentioned in this Contract shall include the supply of materials and accessories, equipment, tools, labour, and transportation.

There will be an optional site visit on the 14th of August 2018 at 1pm local time. Interested bidders are to meet at:

CLOSING DATE AND TIME
August 23rd 2018 at 2PM (EDT)
National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.
Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and Contract Documents.
PERIOD OF CONTRACT
The Contractor must perform the work from contract award and complete it no later than the 26th of October 2018.

Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond.
Bids submitted by facsimile to Parks Canada are NOT accepted.
Parks Canada Procurement Unit provides services to the public in either official language of Canada.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
