Roof Rehabilitation Project, Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site

Requirement:

Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site requires a Contractor to perform all the work associated with the complete design build of concrete roof panel rehabilitation and replacement. See specifications and drawings for further details on the requirements of this project.

To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $250,001 and $ 500,000, Taxes extra.

Optional Site Visit:

There will be an optional site visit on 29 August 2018 at 13:00 (ADT). Interested bidders are to meet at the Superintendent’s House, 556 Chebucto St., Baddeck, Nova Scotia.

The site visit for this project is OPTIONAL. The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

Project Timeline:

The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by 30 November 2018.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk.
