TRANSPORTATION OF DANGEROUS GOODS IN NORTHERN CANADA – LOGISTICS ANALYSIS
The objective of this study is to comprehensively identify the DGs that are transported in and throughout the Study Area, and, analyze and describe the logistics associated with these movements. The study will also identify the major hubs across Canada that service the Study Area and furthermore identify areas of potential risk.
The scope of this logistics analysis will include the identification of all DGs that are transported throughout the Study Area and their transportation routes. These include all areas in Canada located north of the 55th parallel as well as additional areas that are isolated from major population centres and regions which are serviced only by air and/or ice roads (northwestern Ontario / northwestern Quebec / northwestern Labrador).
Refer to the description above for full details.
