Notice of Proposed Procurement

Title: Canine (K9) Cages

Nature of Requirement:

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police requires twenty four (24) canine (K9) kennels with the option of purchasing an additional six (6) kennels during the next two year period.

Delivery:

The deliverables must be received within eight (8) weeks from date of contract award.

Competitive procurement strategy:

Lowest/Lower Bid

Security: There is no security requirement associated with the Contract.

Delivery Location:

The K9 cages will be delivered to the following location:

1150-5450 Korea Road, Chilliwack, B.C., V2R 0N7

Trade Agreements:

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

Optional Site Visit:

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at RCMP Post Garage Boardroom, 1150-5450 Korea Road, Chilliwack BC, V2R 0N7, on Thursday September 27^th, 2018. The site visit will begin at 10:00 am PDT.

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than Tuesday September 25^th, 2018 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend.

Integrity Provisions:

RCMP has adopted the Integrity Regime administered by PSPC. As a result, the integrity provisions are being applied in RCMP contracting activities as outlined in this solicitation.

To ensure a response before bid closing date, all enquires must be submitted in writing and received by the Contracting Officer at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the bid closing date.
