TITLE:

CAVE & BASIN BELVEDERE DECK & STRUCTURE REHABILITATION, BANFF NATIONAL PARK, BANFF, AB

REQUIREMENT:

Work of this contract comprises remediation of Cave and Basin National Historic Site South Belvedere and Belvedere Viewing Point, located at 311 Cave Avenue, Banff, AB.

To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $250,001 > $ 500,000, Taxes extra.

CLOSING DATE AND TIME:

October 26, 2018 at 1400 hrs (MDT)

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:

There will be an Optional site visit on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 2:00 PM.  Interested bidders are to meet at the Cave and Basin Main entrance, of the main building at the top of the hill, at 311 Cave Avenue, Banff, AB.

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority (Annie Roy - annie.roy@pc.gc.ca) no later than Wednesday, October 10, 2018 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend.

NOTE TO POTENTIAL BIDDERS:

Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

PERIOD OF THE CONTRACT:

The period of the Contract is from contract award date to March 22, 2019 inclusive.
