DELIVERABLES / SCOPE OF WORK
Project Description
The scope of work consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment, and material for shoreline protection at Parson’s Pond, NL. The work will be completed in strict accordance with the specification and accompanying drawings and subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract.
The project work will consist of, but will not necessarily be limited to, the following:
- Demolition and removal of old cribwork.
- Supply and installation of geogrid material as noted on the drawings.
- Supply and installation of filter stone (400-800 kg size).
- Supply and installation of amour stone (4-6 tonne size). Note that excavation of the existing bottom will be required to “toe-in” the armour stone, as shown on the drawings. Dredge material to be removed from site and disposed of at an approved waste disposal site.
