    Eiffage Innovations Canada Inc.

    Parks Canada Agency requires a construction contractor to replace the concrete dam located on the Gull River at the outlet of Horseshoe Lake and to replace Twelve Mile Lake Dam located at the outlet of Twelve Mile Lake. See specifications and drawings for further details on the requirement of this project.

    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value over & above $5,000,001, taxes extra.

    Optional Site Visit:

    There will be an optional site visit on November 22, 2018, at 10:30 am (EST). Interested bidders will meet at Horseshoe Lake Dam, located at 1902 Horseshoe Lake Road, Minden Hills, ON, near the intersection of Horseshoe Lake Road and Bethel Road. Immediately afterwards, the attendees will proceed to visit Twelve Mile Lake Dam located at 1034 Taylor Road, Ontario, off Highway 35.

    The site visit for this project is OPTIONAL. The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

    Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the site visit have their own Personal Flotation Device (PFD). Contractor’s personnel/individuals who do not have their own PFD will not have access onto the dam.

    Project Timeline:

    The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by by May 31, 2020 for the Horseshoe Dam and September 30, 2020 for the Twelve Mile Dam.

    This Bid shall be submitted following a "two-envelope" procedure. Refer to SI04 of the Special Instructions to Bidders. Bids submitted by facsimile to Parks Canada are NOT accepted.

    Information:

    National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

    Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
