Requirement:

Parks Canada Agency is looking for a contractor to replace the existing indoor 30kW generator with a new pad mounted exterior 150kW generator. Work to include supply and installation of new generator complete with transfer switch, modification of existing service into the building and demolition and removal of existing generator from site. Installation of concrete pad will NOT form part of this contract.

To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $100,001 > $ 250,000 taxes extra.

Project Timeline:

The Contractor shall perform and complete all onsite Work by April 30, 2019.

Optional Site Visit:

There will be an optional site visit on December 12, 2018 at 12 pm noon MST. Interested bidders are to meet at the lobby of the Miette Hot Springs (MHS) pool. Once leaving the highway, the road up to the MHS pool is 18km and is not well maintained in winter. A four wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle is recommended. The gate which will be encountered at the 2km mark on this road will be dummy locked. Please close the gate behind but do not lock.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
