Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) Health Services require the services of an Infectious Disease Specialist for Saskatchewan Penitentiary in the Prairie Region.
Objectives:
The Contractor will provide Infectious Disease services to inmates and collaborate with the institution's multi-disciplinary health services team that includes, but is not limited to, nurses, dietitians, radiology services, dental, psychiatry, psychology and other allied healthcare professionals.
The goal of the Infectious Disease Contract is to provide quality adjunctive, care and treatment for latent and active Tuberculosis, infectious hepatitis and other blood borne infectious, communicable skin infections, and sexually transmitted infections for offenders in the institution.
Deliverables:
a) The Contractor is to provide assessment, treatment, consultation and follow up to inmates at Saskatchewan Penitentiary with Hepatitis, HIV Aids and/or Tuberculosis, as requested by the Project Authority. This is in accordance with the National Essential Health Services Framework, including any amendment to this Framework issued by CSC during the contract period and any optional period if and when exercised by CSC.
