REQUIREMENT:
Provide mechanical thinning services for the Clearing Operations (Includes harvesting, skidding to landings and processing to tree length, in-block roads, disposal of non-merchantable timber and hauling of merchantable timber) Merchantable timber will become the property of the contractor
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $250,001 > $ 500,000, Taxes extra.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
There will be an Optional site visit on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 1:00 PM (MST). Interested bidders are to meet at the Cave and Basin Parking lot by the main entrance of the Visitor’s building, at 311 Cave Avenue, Banff, AB.
Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority (Annie Roy - annie.roy2@canada.ca) no later than Tuesday, December 18, 2018 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend.
NOTE TO POTENTIAL BIDDERS:
Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
PERIOD OF THE CONTRACT:
The period of the Contract is from contract award date to May 31, 2019 inclusive.
