Standardization of Access Control Systems

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has a requirement for the supply and the installation of new physical security access control hardware and software components on an "as and when requested" basis for CRA sites across Canada. These components must be compatible with the Shared Services Canada (SSC)-CRA’s IT network, and not create any interruptions in service. These components must be inter-operable or equivalent to the existing Kantech Entrapass Global Edition software (version 7.42) as well as the DSC Maxysis intrusion detection system (which uses a DSC 4020 panel).

Furthermore, the CRA may require services to upgrade or install new Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems at certain sites, as and when requested. The CCTV systems will be installed as standalone systems.

The resulting contract will be for three (3) firm years along with four (4) irrevocable one-year options to extend the period of the contract. An option to purchase additional quantities will also be included, as well as an option to add or remove sites.
