Requirement:
Fort Mississauga National Historic Site requires a Contractor to perform all the work associated with Stabilization work. The project Scope of Work includes (but not limited to): Roof Replacement, Masonry Repairs, Excavation, and Structural Crack Repairs. The work covered under this project consists of furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment hardware, and materials compliant in strict accordance with specifications and accompanying drawings and subject to all terms and conditions contained therein. See specifications for further details on the requirements of this project.
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $500,001 and $ 1,000,000, taxes extra.
Mandatory Criteria
Bidders must demonstrate with their bid that they meet the mandatory requirements. Refer to Appendix 3 Qualifications Form for details.
Optional Site Visit:
There will be an optional site visit on 19 February 2019 at 13:00 (local time). Interested bidders are to meet at Fort Mississauga (middle of the golf course), 142 Front Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON, L0S 1J0.
The site visit for this project is OPTIONAL. The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by 01 September 2019.

Information:
National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
