THIS INVITATION TO TENDER PACKAGE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
SCOPE OF WORK:
Fisheries and Oceans Canada is calling for tenders according to the scheduling chosen by the contractor, the work covered by this contract must include, but not be limited to:
1. The establishment of a slab on the ground;
2. The erection of the warehouse structure;
3. The installation of a concrete access ramp;
4. The electrical and mechanical work;
5. The interior finish;
6. The installation of interior electrical equipment;
7. Fire protection;
8. The appropriate anti-explosion protection based on the use of the warehouse;
9. The installation of a lift arm system;
10. Pedestrian doors at the ends and a garage door;
11. The interior insulation of the building;
12. The establishment of interior cladding;
13. The finished warehouse must have a minimum area of 60 m². The garage door
must have a minimum width of 1.85 m (6 ft).

SECURITY LEVEL REQUIREMENTS:
1. The Subcontractor must, at all times during the performance of the Subcontract, hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).
2. The Subcontractor personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or approved by CISD/ PWGSC.
3. Subcontracts which contain security requirements are NOT to be awarded without the prior written permission of CISD/ PWGSC.
4. The Subcontractor must comply with the provisions of the:
(a) Security Requirements Check List and security guide (if applicable).
(b) Industrial Security Manual (Latest Edition).
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
There is an optional bidder’s site visit taking place on: Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at
10:00 AM (EST).
