GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
.1 Temporary development work includes, but is not limited to: the provision and installation of six (6) trailers for the relocation of workstations in two (2) existing buildings located on the site of the "Operational Centre"; the provision and installation of a sanitary trailer; the relocation of an existing trailer located on the site of the "Operational Centre"; the relocation of the inventory (Material and Equipment) of two (2) existing buildings located on the "Operational Centre" site; the provision and installation of new shelves for storage needs; and the removal of trailers and containers after the period of use of the temporary facilities.
.2 Temporary development work is divided into two (2) phases. The first phase will be carried out in spring 2019 and the second in spring 2021. The contractor must ensure that the succession of phases is coordinated with the APC Representative and present a phasing plan and schedule for the entire project.
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $250,001 > $ 500,000, taxes extra.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
There will be an optional site visit on Tuesday the 19th of February 2019 at 1:00pm local time. Interested bidders are to meet at:

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

PERIOD OF CONTRACT:
Temporary works are divided into two (2) phases. The first phase will be completed in the spring of 2019 and the second in the spring of 2021. Temporary facilities must be operational by May 21st 2019, for a duration of approximately 24 months.

Parks Canada Procurement Unit provides services to the public in either official language of Canada.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
