    Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) requires a Contractor for weekly technical support at the Canadian Air and Precipitation Monitoring Network Joussard site in Alberta herein referred to as the CAPMoN Site. 

    The primary focus of the CAPMoN Site is the weekly collection of precipitation. There is also a requirement for air and ozone sampling. Environmental data is collected from both automatic and manual samplers. A contractor is required to attend to the CAPMoN Site to retrieve the air and precipitation samples according to the CAPMoN Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The air and precipitation samples are then packaged and shipped for analysis to the CAPMoN National Laboratory located in Toronto, Ontario, every week. Other duties include weekly reading and recording of various gauges, diagnostics, and regular servicing, troubleshooting, and minor repair of a variety of monitoring equipment.
