AAFC is requesting proposals for the conduct of field work and other activities in relation to two (2) individual project requirements. The projects are both intended to meet priority needs identified by stakeholders and experts working with AAFC in the implementation of a risk reduction strategy for management of insect pests of outdoor nursery ornamentals;

Project #1 - involves the evaluation of entomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs) as biological control agents for root weevil management in outdoor ornamental nurseries.

Project #2 - is aimed at maximizing the efficiency of sprayer application equipment for use in ornamental nursery crops
