ITT - Rehabilitation and renovation of miscellaneous buildings in the Community of Pangnirtung, Nunavut for Auyuittituq National Park

Description of Work:

Parks Canada Agency (PCA) is inviting general contractors with construction experience for the rehabilitation and renovation of miscellaneous buildings in the Community of Pangnirtung, Nunavut.

This project covers miscellaneous rehabilitation and renovation of three (3) of these properties comprising, amongst others, replacement of exterior envelope of the maintenance garage, replacement of the compound fence, replacement of three (3) heating boilers with ancillary equipment replacement, as well as various electromechanical work.

Inuit Benefits Plan (IBP)

The Bidder must include an Inuit Benefit Plan (IBP) as part of their proposal. The IBP must demonstrate the suppliers' use of the employment of Inuit labour, engagement of Inuit professional services, or use of suppliers that are Inuit or Inuit firms, in carrying out the Work outlined in this request for proposals.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

Delivery Date:

The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to March 31, 2020.

Bid Security:

Is required. To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $500,001 > $ 1,000,000, Taxes extra.
