Replacement of Ten (10) Culverts (Trails S7 and S9), La Mauricie National Park

Requirement:

La Mauricie National Park requires a Contractor to perform all the work associated with the replacement of ten (10) Culverts. The work will include the removal of ten (10) trail culverts and construction of ten (10) new trail culverts.

The work to be performed as part of the contract includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Land clearing;
• Demolition of existing structures;
• 1st and 2nd class excavations;
• Removal and offsite disposal of existing culverts and waste material;
• Supply and installation of new culverts, including parts, headwalls, low walls, cut-off walls, and end accessories;
• Backfill of excavations, including transitions and borrow materials;
• Cleaning of existing ditches, where applicable;
• Re-profiling of existing ditches, where applicable;
• Riprap and geotextile;
• Complete reconstruction of trail structure and correction of profile for a specific section;
• Temporary shoring, including bracing of six (6) bridges;
• Protection of public utilities;
• Environmental protection structures;
• Site signage and protection;
• Site rehabilitation.

  All works noted shall include the supply of materials and accessories, equipment, tools, labour, and transportation. See specifications for further details on the requirements of this project.

To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $250,001 and $ 500,000, taxes extra.

Site Visit:

There is no site visit scheduled for this project.

Project Timeline:

The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by 14 October 2019.
