NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP)

The Department of National Defence has a requirement for the supply of ten (10) Environmentally-Controlled Rack Mount Cases, which consist of the following two (2) transportable console assemblies:

a. Rack Case Console; and

b. Environmental Control System Console.

Each Environmentally-Controlled Rack Mount Case must function as a military deployable, ruggedized, climate-controlled, shock-mounted equipment rack for non-Military-Specification electronic equipment.

The Environmentally-Controlled Rack Mount Cases must provide protection for all contained equipment against shock, vibration, and deterioration from all environmental conditions that might be encountered during storage, shipment, and operation. It must be designed to enable operation of DND equipment.

Detailed specifications of the required cases can be found at Annex "A" of the attached Request for Proposal.

This requirement also has an option to provide an additional four (4) Environmentally-Controlled Rack Mount Cases.

Delivery of the items is within Ottawa, Ontario.

The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
