5P201-19-0020/A Trans-Canada Highway Safety and Standards Rehabilitation, Terra Nova National Park, NL
Requirement
Parks Canada Agency (PCA) has a requirement for construction services to rehabilitate and remediate areas along the Trans-Canada Highway in Terra Nova National Park. The Trans-Canada Highway in Terra Nova National Park is 42.2 kilometers in length. It was originally constructed in the late 1950’s, paved in 1960 and repaved in 1974 and 2013. Works under this project will include; Ditching, Selective Clearing, Culvert Replacements, Slope Stabilization, Intersection Remediation, Highway Drainage Improvements, Outlet Pool Improvements for Wildlife Connectivity, and other associated Site Remediation works.
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $1,000,001 > $5,000,000, Taxes extra.
Delivery Date
Contractor shall perform and complete the Work no later than September 30, 2019.
Site Visit
There will not be a site visit scheduled for this project.

Enquiries regarding this bid must be submitted in writing and should be received no later than five (5) calendar days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer NOT being provided.
Information
National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
