5P420-19-0001/A Liquid Waste Collection and Disposal – Pacific Rim National Park Reserve
REQUIREMENT
Parks Canada requires the collection and disposal of liquid waste in the Long Beach Unit of Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. Contractor must ensure the vehicle used to fulfill this Contract is a minimum of a tandem rear axle truck with a tank capacity of a minimum of 2,500 (two thousand five hundred) imperial gallons. The Contractor must be able to provide, at maximum, a 3 (three) hour response time when the Contractor has been notified of a high level alarm by Parks staff or during the Contractor’s monitoring inspections.
Period of Contract
The period of the Contract is from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020 inclusive.
Option to Extend the Contract
The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to one (1) additional one (1) year period being July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 inclusive under the same conditions. The Contractor agrees that, during the extended period of the Contract, it will be paid in accordance with the applicable provisions as set out in the Basis of Payment.
INFORMATION:
National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
