Conduct necropsies of stranded St. Lawrence Estuary (SLE) beluga using currently accepted methods for a complete post-mortem examination (necropsy), to determine probable cause of death of the animal and to identify all situations, signs, and pathological indices. The data and samples collected (see Annexes) will be preserved and stored at the necropsy laboratory for shipping to the Maurice-Lamontagne Institute. All material required for collection of samples will be provided by Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO).
