MARINE INFRASTRUCTURE STANDING OFFER:
The Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) is inviting Offerors to submit proposals for this Request for Standing Offers (RFSO). The selected offerors shall provide a range of services as identified in the Scope of Work section of this document.
The work covered under this Standing Offer Agreement comprises of the furnishing of all labour, materials, tools, transportation, supervision and equipment necessary for the provision of completing marine infrastructure projects for the various locations within each zone.
It is DFO's intention to authorize up to three (3) Standing Offers for each of the three zones identified under In drawing NL-000 of the standing offer. Each standing offer will be for a period of five (5) years. The total dollar value of all Standing Offers is estimated to be $12,000,000 over five years (GST or HST included). The total value of the SO is estimated to have the following breakdown for each zone:
Zone A – Lower Mainland estimated at $4,000,000 over five years
Zone B – Vancouver Island estimated at $4,000,000 over five years
Zone C – North Coast estimated at $4,000,000 over five years.
Offerors should note that there is no guarantee that the full or any amount of the Standing Offer will be called-up; DFO will issue call-ups only when the specific services to be provided under the Standing Offer are needed. Please refer to Section SOP04, CALL-UP PROCEDURE and SOP05, CALL-UP AUTHORITY.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
There are security requirements associated with this Request for Standing Offers.
PERIOD OF STANDING OFFER:
Five (5) years from the date of award. These SOs will be used by DFO offices throughout the province of British Columbia, Canada.
An optional bidders conference will be held on the following dates at the following locations where a large scale aerial photographs of our sites will be available.
