    Description:

    The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in Ottawa, ON requires the following services to be provided by a

    “Qualified” Automotive Body Shop:

    • Determine the extent of the repairs and estimate the required level of effort to restore the vehicle paint quality to near factory condition.
    • Provide all labor, parts, consumable materials, tools and specialized automotive testing equipment to repair, replace, paint, sand, wet sand and polish as determined fit to restore the vehicle paint quality to near factory condition.
    • These services are for RCMP armoured vehicles on an as and when needed basis during the period of the Contract.
    • The required services are to be performed by licensed auto body technician or apprentice automotive mechanics under the direct supervision of a licensed auto body technician.
    • . Delivery Location is with the National Capital Region.

    • The period of the Contract is from date of Contract award to March 31, 2023 inclusive with the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to two additional one year period(s) under the same conditions.

    Basis of selection:

    A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for contract award. Bidders must meet the RCMP Security Requirement prior to contract award.

    NOTE: If the lowest compliant bidder does not meet the Security Requirement, then second lowest compliant bid will be considered for contract award and so forth.
