REQUIREMENT
This project scope of work requires that the contractor supply all labour, material, equipment, tools and supplies necessary to carry out the maintenance of the lawns at the Fortifications of Québec National Historic Site of Canada, having an area of approximately 30,000 square metres
Period of Contract
The Work is to be performed during the period of April 1, 2020 to November 30, 2021
Option to Extend the Contract
The Contractor will grant to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to 2 additional 1 year periods under the same conditions.
optional Site Visit
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at the Fonderie de l’Arsenal (Artillerie) at 2 rue d’Auteuil, G1R 5C2 on 23 October, 2019. The site visit will begin at 9:00 a.m., and the tour of the various venues will be carried out at that time.
Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than October 21, 2019 at 2 pm to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

All enquiries of a technical and contractual nature are to be submitted to the Contracting Authority.
Enquiries regarding this bid must be submitted in writing and should be received no later than ten (10) calendar days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer NOT being provided.
INFORMATION:
National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
